Job Description
- Carry out medical rehabilitation service programs and plans related to physiotherapy services in accordance with service standards, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations to support patient healing and recovery.
- Attend briefings before scheduled patient appointments to obtain information regarding previous operational conditions.
- Check the function and cleanliness of tools at the start of each shift to ensure all tools used comply with standards.
- Receive patients using service standards set by the hospital to ensure consistency of service.
- Conduct assessments regarding the patient’s condition and complaints to determine a diagnosis, plan the program, and actions to be given.
- Analyze integrated information from patient assessment data to determine the suitability of the physiotherapy program with assessment results.
- Explain the procedure to be given, its duration, and effects to the patient for complete initial education.
- Carry out the physiotherapy program in accordance with established procedures until completion to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients and their families/companions after the procedure regarding home care and schedule the next session to ensure continuity of the healing process.
- Complete documentation of patient files before, during, and after procedures as evaluation material for subsequent medical rehabilitation services.
- Collect required data and/or make reports related to operational activities as accountability to superiors.
- Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, collecting data, documenting, and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital-wide indicators and related department/unit targets.
Qualifications
- Diploma (D3) Degree from Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proficiency in physiotherapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities.
- Ability to develop tailored treatment solutions to address complex physical impairments and functional limitations.
- Strong skills in assessing patient conditions, diagnosing physical impairments, and developing effective treatment plans.
